Day 1 : Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Location: Tarangire National Park

Accommodation: Camp, Lodge, Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Depart early from Arusha town at around 07.30 – 08.00 Hrs you will drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and take left along the Arusha – Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park, a drive that will take only 2 hours at most. Arrive at the parks gate at Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork you start game drives almost straight away form the gate in a bid to see as many animals and birds a possible.

Tarangire is known for the two aspects, large baobabs and largest herds of the jumbos but there is more to visiting the park than just that. The park hosts a lot of migratory big game and small animals ( that migrate between here and Manyara) but also a lot of bird life including some very rare and almost indigenous only to this park like the Ashy Starlings for example. Other rare animals include the oryx and the gerenuk. A range of other common animals that can be spotted include, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, impalas, dikdiks, leopards, gazelles, elands, hartebeests (Kongoni) and many others.

Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife-spotting areas of the park including the Tarangire River which is a permanent river that works as a bloodline for the park ensuring animals flock to the river banks in search of water throughout the year. You expect to see elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a lot of birds. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic sites. Later in the afternoon, you will drive out of the park and your guide will take you to Manyara/ Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight. Day 2 : Manyara/Karatu – Lake Eyasi – Back Manyara/Karatu

Location: Lake Eyasi

Accommodation: Camp, Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Explore wild, uncharted territory in southern Serengeti. Lake Eyasi, located in the immediate southwest of Ngorongoro Crater in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania, is one of the several beautiful lakes in the East African Rift Valley. The mildly alkaline lake stretches for about 50 km to the southwest with the vast plains of the Serengeti in its north. Enjoy walks along the shores of the lake and spend afternoons exploring the area dotted with ancient Baobab trees. Go on a hunting expedition with a Hadzabe family – Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherers, to see their astonishing ability to track and hunt small game!

Early morning we depart to the village for local hunting experience with Hadzabe and Datonga tribes. This is not a mere performance. The bushmen rely on these techniques to survive and you'll need to be very attentive and at times quiet, while they demonstrate their use of locally made poisons in incapacitating the poor creatures on which they depend for survival. We return to your Accommodation for a late breakfast. After Breakfast you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the 'Hadzabe' (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which will be arranged.

At late Afternoon we drive back to Manyara/Karatu for Overnight

Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Crater Area is one of the most sought, after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

Day 6 : Lake Manyara Full Day Game Drive – Back To Arusha

Location: Lake Manyara National Park

Accommodation: Hotel, Camp, Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions.

The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants but it is also the home for a few hundred other species of birds; it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Next to a great variety of birds, the “Big Game” can also be seen. With a bit of luck you might see elephants in the wooded regions and with even more fortune the tree-climbing lions.

Indeed, it was thought for a long time that the Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shootsIn the late afternoon, you will leave the Lake Manyara National Park and head to Manyara/ Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight. SERENGETI SAFARI

01-Apr-2022

Serengeti National Park has blessed many travelers but what surprises people, and attracts many safari veterans, is the quality of the parks in the rest of Tanzania, which has set aside a full one-third of its land as wildlife preserves. We used to see and hear from other travelers that Serengeti is the best National Park that Many people want to visit. After Kilimanjaro 7 days of Hiking via the Machame route we recommended our Serengeti Safari Tour Company to organize the 6 days Serengeti Big 5 Safari Tour since it was July so was the best time to see the Great Migration in Northern Serengeti and also the big 5 animals. So, we had a great and fantastic safari and Kilimanjaro tour experience in Tanzania, we wish to come back next year.

Though the pandemic was still hitting the world. I decided to get out of it all and go to Africa where I was met by the Managing Director with whom I have been planning my climb to the roof of Africa. The entire crew wore masks at all times and the doors where people touched were sanitized every after a short while. The guides had high knowledge and answered most of our questions with substantial details. We were glad to have chosen this company. I would like to say thank him for his personal qualities: responsibility, courtesy, extraordinary intelligence, and readiness, and secondly for his high qualifications such as preparedness, extensive knowledge, and rich experience. Best experience and the best tour guide would highly recommend Friendship Adventure agency to anyone looking to have an unforgettable Serengeti Safari trip and Kilimanjaro Hiking Tour!

SERENGETI BIG 5 SAFARI

06-Apr-2022

With its abundant wildlife, excellent species diversity, and evocative acacia- and baobab-studded landscapes, Tanzania is one of Africa's most rewarding safari destinations. Most of the country's main parks are easily accessible via paved roads or regular flights and have a good range of facilities. The political situation is generally stable and Tanzanians have a well-deserved reputation for the warm welcome they extend to visitors. These factors made me visit this National, we had 11 days Tanzania Safari and Tours in three destinations; Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, and Zanzibar I came with my wife Anna and honestly, we met this tour company on the Internet, of course, we booked with many Companies but the way this company was quick in answering the emails professionally and as they recommended us various tour options, we decided to go with them. We loved everything as well as your services. Thank you!

Be careful if you are not a strong swimmer there is a very tough current going under. This current can be overwhelming. I really enjoyed swinging and jumping into the water. I had an amazing barbecue lunch with french fries afterward at Chemka Hot spring, I was then taken back to my hotel and the next day I woke up feeling very fresh and wanted to be back again but since I booked 6 days Serengeti Migration Safari early morning the Safari driver guide came to pick me ready to start our Safari to Serengeti. On the way to Serengeti, we passed the Ngorongoro Conservation area. I used to see the Maasai tribe on the Internet but honestly, this was an amazing experience since I met the Maasai tribe face to face by dancing, jumping, and getting to know their cultural norms. Thank you, Director, for organizing this tour and being the best Tanzania Serengeti Safari Tour operator during my Africa Safari Tour Experience.

SERENGETI BIG 5 SAFARI TOUR

Booking our taxi was well in advance from the airport. But they never confirmed before we boarded our flight. The miracle that happened was we went through the process of making the second booking for the 6 Days Serengeti Safari Tour. This company responded well and on time. We were impressed with the service thus when we as well booked to go back to the airport with the same company. The service was punctual at both times and was on time. We had a great time in Northern Serengeti, it was when we witnessed the frenzied crossing of the Grumeti River where gigantic crocodiles lay in wait that we truly felt like I was caught in the middle of a National Geographic wildlife special. Beyond the migration, we had plenty of other magic moments in the Serengeti, spying a pride of lions feasting on a kill, seeing a leopard laze languidly in the crook of a tree, watching Hyenas fight over scavenged leftovers, witnessing the sunrise over the veld as a Serengeti hot-air balloon silently drifted by, and waking up in the middle of the night and unzipping my tent to find the Southern Cross lighting up the night sky. All I can say is Asante Sana!

My equipment to climb Kilimanjaro was not sufficient therefore I had to get new equipment, and therefore it was very nice to have had my booking handled by this tour company, who have a very big store for mountain equipment a bit out of time. The driver who fetched us from the airport had all the details and never missed us. We were introduced to an incredible mountain support crew that worked very well to get us to the summit. We finally went to Serengeti for 5 days just for Migration Safari, we had no cameraman to take us some shoots, but the company offered one camerawoman who was shooting us for all 6 days in Serengeti, we saw the wildebeest crossing to the mara river and few crocodiles were chopping the wildebeest while crossing to the river towards Maasai Mara Kenya.
