Today, you will take your transfer to Torres del Paine National Park which takes about 2.5 hours. That morning you will depart to one of the Park’s landmarks, the Las Torres Base Lookout Point. After the ascent, you will return to the Central Sector.
Day 2 : Torres Del Paine, Chile

Today you will walk about 13,5kms. along the shore of Nordenskjold Lake and beneath Almirante Nieto mountain as well as the striking Cuernos del Paine.
Day 3 : Torres Del Paine, Chile

The day begins exploring one of the icons of the circuit, the Francés Valley. You will start early with a light hike to the Italiano Campsite. From there, you will begin the climb through the woods (about 2kms) up the Francés River Valley.
Day 4 : Torres Del Paine - Puerto Natales, Chile

Today, you will reach the third milestone on the circuit, the magnificent Grey Glacier. After a short stop we will return to the Paine Grande Sector and take the 6:30pm catamaran to Pudeto. You will be met by the bus that will take you to Puerto Natales.

The tour includes a bus transfer from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park, taking approximately 2.5 hours. On the final day, a catamaran ride from Paine Grande Sector to Pudeto is provided, followed by a bus transfer back to Puerto Natales.

On the final day, you will hike for 6 to 8 hours covering 19 km with a high difficulty level.

On the first day, you will meet at 6:30 am to take a 7 am bus to Torres del Paine National Park, which takes about 2.5 hours. You will then hike to the Las Torres Base Lookout Point and return to the Central Sector for dinner and overnight stay. The hike is 8 to 10 hours long, covering 19.5 km with a high difficulty level.

What will I see during the hike on the second day?
On the second day, you will walk along the shore of Nordenskjöld Lake and beneath Almirante Nieto mountain as well as the striking Cuernos del Paine. You will enjoy magnificent views of Paine Massif's horns (Los Cuernos), hanging glaciers, lakes, and abundant vegetation and wildlife. The hike is 4.5 to 6.5 hours long, covering 13.5 km with a medium difficulty level.

What is the highlight of the third day?
The highlight of the third day is exploring the Francés Valley. You will hike to the Italiano Campsite and then climb through the woods up the Francés River Valley to the Francés Lookout Point. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the valley framed by the Paine Grande, Catedral, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Aleta de Tiburón, and Cuerno del Norte mountains. The hike is 7 to 9 hours long, covering 17.5 km with a high difficulty level.

What can I expect on the final day of the trek?
On the final day, you will hike to the Grey Glacier, passing around Paine Grande with views of its hanging glaciers. You will reach the first lookout point over Grey Lake for an awe-inspiring view of the Glacier. After reaching the Grey Mountain Refuge, you will return to the Paine Grande Sector and take a 6:30 pm catamaran to Pudeto, followed by a bus ride back to Puerto Natales. The hike is 6 to 8 hours long, covering 19 km with a high difficulty level.

Is there an age limit?
No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations. If you plan to participate in activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, sand-buggy rides, etc please make sure they are included in your policy.
