Day 2: Islabamad - Skardu, Pakistan

Embark on a scenic 1-hour flight from Islamabad to Skardu, offering breathtaking views of the landscape below. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely day for sightseeing and exploring Skardu Bazaar, where you can shop for essentials and immerse yourself in the local culture. Visit iconic landmarks such as Manthal Rock Budha and Kharpocho Fort, as well as the charming Organic Village. Alternatively, in the event of flight cancellation due to weather conditions, embark on a picturesque drive via the Karakoram Highway, making short stops at various tourist spots along the way.
Day 3: Skardu - Khaplu, Pakistan

Embark on a picturesque journey as we drive to Khaplu, winding through the charming villages of Ghanche district. Along the way, we'll pause to marvel at the meeting point of the Shayok and Indus Rivers, soaking in the breathtaking natural beauty. Our adventure continues with a stop at Thorgo Pari, where the landscape captivates with its rugged allure.
Arriving at Yugo, we'll be treated to a traditional lunch, savoring the flavors of the region amidst the tranquil surroundings. Afterward, immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of village life with a cultural walk through the streets of Yugo. Engage with locals, learn about their customs, and perhaps even pick up a few words of the local dialect.
In the late afternoon, we'll resume our journey to Khaplu, where we'll settle into our accommodations for the night. With some leisure time on hand, take the opportunity to explore the historical treasures of Khaplu, including the impressive fort museum and the serene organic garden. Day 4: Khaplu - Thalay Valley - Thalay Broq, Pakistan

Today's adventure leads you from Dubla Khan to the High Camp, nestled at an impressive elevation of 4180 meters. As you trek towards the High Camp, immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, take moments to pause and appreciate the tranquillity of the journey.
Upon reaching the High Camp, you'll find yourself surrounded by the majestic Karakoram peaks. With free time at your disposal, there are numerous opportunities to explore and indulge in the natural wonders of the area. Take a leisurely stroll to the nearby glacial stream, where the pristine waters offer a refreshing respite. For the more adventurous spirits, test your scrambling skills on the nearby rocks, or venture out to spot some of the diverse Karakoram bird and flower species that call this region home.
Whether you choose to engage in adrenaline-fueled activities or simply soak in the serenity of the surroundings, the High Camp promises an unforgettable experience amidst the grandeur of nature.
Day 7: High Camp –Thalay La – Camp 3, Pakistan

Today's trek takes you on a captivating journey from the High Camp to the summit of Thalay La, reaching an elevation of 4800 meters after approximately two hours of hiking. At the summit, be prepared to be mesmerized by the breathtaking panoramic views that unfold before you. From this vantage point, you'll witness the majestic Masherbrum range, Mango Gusor, and a multitude of other towering peaks, with valleys stretching out below in all their splendour.
After savouring the beauty of Thalay La, continue your trek downwards towards Camp 3, situated at an altitude of 3750 meters on the Shigar side. As you descend, soak in the ever-changing landscapes and embrace the sense of adventure that accompanies each step of the journey. Arriving at Camp 3, settle in and unwind, relishing in the memories of the day's exhilarating trekking experience amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Karakoram mountains.
Day 8: Camp-3 – Shigar Valley, Pakistan
