Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek, Airport Pick-up, Free Time
Arrive in Bishkek and meet the driver in the airport and transfer to the city center. Check in to your accommodation after 2pm. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore on your own, or, supplement for the city tour with the English speaking guide.
Day 2: Bishkek - Tosor, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Tosor
Tosor Transfer, Salt Lake Visit (B/D)
After breakfast, transfer to the southern shore of Issyk-Kul lake to Tosor village. Issyk-Kul (“hot lake” in Kyrgyz) is the worlds second largest salt lake (after Caspian). The lake never freezes (hence the name), even though it's surrounded by mountains. On the way, visit a place on the Great Silk Road, the Burana Tower dating from the XI century. Besides the tower there is a museum and a collection of balbals (that are the grave stones). Optionally, visit the yurt workshop that produced the wooden parts of the Yurts. On the way you will visit the canyon Skazka was named due to its bizarre rocky landscape, which for many years has been transformed by wind into fabulous sculptures and formations. Some formations in Skazka have been named for their similarity to well-known objects.Tonight's accommodation and dinner will be in the Yurt camp
Day 3: Tosor - Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Naryn
Naryn Transfer, Homestay (B)
Transfer to Naryn through Tosor pass on Terskey Ala-Too mountain range at the altitude of 3,893 m. Standing high on the pass you can feel the sense of serenity. On the way to the pass stands the village Tosor and the site of Ancient People. Spend tonight with a host family.
Day 4: Naryn - Tash Rabat, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Tash-Rabat
Tash Rabat Transfer, Caravan Sarai (B/D)
Transfer to Tash Rabat. Upon arrival enjoy an excursion to Caravan Sarai and in the afternoon have a walk in the gorge. Dinner and overnight in the yurt.
Day 5: Tash Rabat - Son Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Song-Kul
Son Kul Transfer (B/D)
After breakfast transfer to Son-Kul lake. Son-Kul is a mountain lake in the Central Tian Shan range, virtually in the center of Kyrgyzstan. At 29km long and 18km wide and a maximum depth of 13.2m - it is Kyrgyzstan's second largest lake. It is situated on a treeless, high mountain plateau, and is surrounded by lush mountain meadows (jailoo). As such, it is used by the shepherds of the Kochkor, Naryn and At Bashi regions for summer pastures for their flocks. Yurts, round felt tents over a wooden frame, are the typical nomadic dwelling found throughout Central Asia, you will see several scattered throughout the plain. Optional horse riding is available. Dinner and overnight in the Yurt camp.
Day 6: Son Kul - Kyzyl Ol - Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Location: Bishkek
Kokomeren River Valley Visit (B/D)
In the morning, transfer over Kara-Keche (3380 m) to the valley of Kokomeren River. Afterwards, transfer to Bishkek over Too-Ashuu Pass (3580 m) and arrive in Bishkek.
Day 7: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries.
