Welcome to La Paz! Today, you will be picked-up from the airport and transferred to your accommodation.
Day 2 : La Paz, Bolivia

Today, you will embark on a walking city tour and take the famous "Mi Teleférico" cable car up to El Alto. After this, continue with a “trek” way down to the center of La Paz.
Day 3 : La Paz - Sun Island, Bolivia

Today, you will catch your transfer to Copacabana and take a ferry to the Sun Island where you will have free time to explore its most popular sites.
Day 4 : Sun Island - La Paz, Bolivia

Wander around the Sun Island before taking your transfer back to Copacabana, where you will catch your bus back to La Paz.
Day 5 : La Paz - Uyuni, Bolivia

Today, you will have a day at leisure to take a rest and explore La Paz on your own. In the evening, you will be picked-up from your accommodation and transferred to the bus station where you will catch your overnight bus to Uyuni.
Day 6 : Uyuni - San Juan or Atulcha, Bolivia

Today you will visit the Train cemetery and the town of Colchani before entering in the Uyuni salt flats.
Day 7 : San Juan or Atulcha - Huayllajara, Bolivia
Location: Eduardo Avaroa Andean Flora and Fauna Reserve

Visit to the Salar de Chiguana, the Andean lagoons of Cañapa, Chiarcota, and Hedionda, the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Flora and Fauna Reserve, and Laguna Colorada.
Day 8 : Huayllajara - Uyuni - La Paz, Bolivia
Location: Uyuni

Depart early in the morning to visit the active geysers of Sol de Mañana and continue to the thermal waters of Polques, before visiting Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca. After this, return to the Uyuni town and take the overnight bus back to La Paz.

No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage.
