You will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha at 0700hrs and transferred to the Tarangire National Park to start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to Lodge where you will be spending the night.

Day 2 : Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart the lodge at around 06:00hrs and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site. After lunch, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha/ Airport in the afternoon via curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you.

Fantastic trip

We booked a 2-day safari with them and visted, Tarangire National park and, the Ngorongoro crater. The 2 parks where all different from each other which made the experience even nicer. We had a magnificent driver/guide/friend Onesmo, he is really all knowing about Tanzania, wildlife, nature, it’s like he knows all the animals by name ;) We were a party of 5: my parents, my husband, my 11 year old daughter and myself, we all had a fantastic time! Really recommend Alaitol Safaris..

This is a flawless tour operator! Karato, our guide, cannot be topped. He spotted 3 leopards, 2 lions (we got to watch them mate), the big 5 and so much more. He was a fantastic driver on these back road areas. He made sure everything was PERFECT for our lifetime experience in Tarangire and The Crater. It could not have been any better except we only had 2 days allotted here--if possible, plan for at least 7 days. Due to the pandemic, we had the place to ourselves!!

The Best safari with the best guide/driver!

We were lucky to spend 2 days on a safari in Tanzania during the problems with the Coronavirus. No tourists, but plenty of animals! We were on a private tour and were fortunate that we had Fred from Alaitol Safaris, not only as our driver but especially as our guide for the entire safari. While driving us daily through the national parks he was spotting and pointing to us out all the animals we could have hoped to see on a safari. His detailed knowledge was remarkable. He spoke perfect English and also some German. Anyone planning on going to do a safari in Tanzania, just ask for Fred at Alaitol Safaris, you won't regret it.!
