Tour Overview
Island Peak is situated on the pinnacle of the glacier known as Chhukhung, connecting Ama Dablam and Lhotse. Island Peak is the most sought after climbing spot due to its challenging structure. It is said that every year 300 groups of people try to scale this peak every year. Island Peak provides an outstanding chance to ascend the Himalayan summit as well as thrilling hike towards Everest Base Camp plus Kala Patthar. The most difficult part is considered as a mixed rock, ice wall that lies in the slope slides which leads next to the thin summit edge. Reaching the summit is a difficult task and hence when you reach the top of the Peak you will be properly rewarded with the splendid observation from there. Trek in Dudh Koshi valley is important before you trek in Island Peak. You may be tired after the trekking of Dudh Koshi so, when you feel good and comfortable and feel refreshed then we will move for the Island Peak. Apart from trekking you will be blessed with perfect village of Sherpa and artistic monasteries. When you are done with Peak Climbing, you will return over the route back following Namche to Lukla along with good and different memories and from Lukla you can take the flight for Kathmandu. The appropriate time for climbing Island Peak is during the months of March- May and September- December
