We had a great experience with Soleto Travel from booking right through to our tours. We booked 2 tours in Malta and both were full days filled with lots of information and great times. Our tour guide on both days was Denis and our driver Jonathan. They were amazing. The knowledge Denis has on the history is just amazing. As it was a private tour Denis was able to take us to places that he knew we would appreciate and a little off the tourist track. Thank you for a great two days and showing us so much of this beautiful country. We would definately recommend Soleto tours and Denis.

My wife and I had a recent Italian and Malta holiday and Soleto Travel through Omar arranged the Malta accommodation and private car transport and day trip arrangements. A week in mid Sept of convenience with airport and hotel pick up, day tours with guides to see all the beautiful Malta highlights, a country with such a rich history. Safe driver and informative guides along with excellent accommodation at Hotel Juliani, Spinola Bay. Omar also arranged for a pick up in Pisa, visit and lunch in Lucca and car transfer to Florence. Highly recommend Soleto Travel & Omar for excellent and prompt communication and tour arrangement services.

I booked the tour - A taste of Salento - Puglia, Italy in Sept 2022 as a solo traveller. From the outset the communication from Soleto Travel was excellent and the cost versus Viator a positive. From the moment I was collected at the train station by Antonio (father) to when I was dropped off by (youngest son) Michele De Matteis- the experience was sublime. The whole week I spent at the family Masseria ( olive farm ) in Castiglione I felt at home and cared for. I stayed just outside the olive farm at a locally run BNB and one of the family walked me home each night after dinner. The town is very quiet with about 1300 inhabitants. The BNB owner where I stayed- a farmer, spoke no English but was super friendly and accommodating and made me coffee when I woke at 6am some mornings. My room was large, comfortable and quiet. He showed me his garden, pigs and did my washing for me one day without charge. This is a family affair and each day we went on trips with either brother, Emilio or Michele. Both brothers are warm, accommodating and professional and speak excellent English. The villages and historical sites we visited were stunning and very interesting and we could opt for different activities as there were only 3 of us on tour. I was travelling solo and joined up with an adventurous and fun couple from Canada who I will keep in touch with. We had a great time wine tasting, swimming in the ocean, eating delicious cuisine, wine tasting and site seeing. There was ample time to do your own thing and shop. I usually just do my own thing travelling but this experience was amazing and I am 100% happy with how the trip evolved. The bonus was getting to know this lovely family, experiencing the traditional way of life and getting to see Italy through the lense of a local. A truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Emilio the oldest brother lives on site with his wife and 4 young children and is a lawyer-turned chef. The food he prepares with passion is amazing and plentiful with paired local wines which I am disappointed not to be able to source in Australia. If you are looking for an authentic culinary adventure at your own pace away from the maddening crowds - this is the place. I would do this again in a heartbeat. The family is what makes this trip so fantastic - just lovely people!

We just finished the Taste of Salento tour yesterday and find ourselves missing our new family. The stay at Emilio’s Masseria was truly an authentic Italian real life experience. My husband was born in Calabria arriving in America at age 10 and I have travelled extensively throughout Italy so we feel that we are qualified to give an honest review. From the first day, Emilio greeted us with his gracious, accommodating personality and made it clear that his goal was to make us feel like family. The meals that Emilio prepared at breakfast and dinner were exceptional and he shared his recipes upon request. Clara, his wife, and their 4 beautiful children, along with his parents and brother all became a part of our stay. This is a tour to totally relax, enjoy the local color and visit incredible sites. Puglia is a hidden treasure and shouldn’t be overlooked. Grazie Emilio for one of the best experiences and for making us feel like family. Jackie & Peter

Back in February, while the skies were cold and dark in New Jersey, my wife and I had decided that we needed to take a well-deserved vacation to Sicily in May, so we looked online for some reputable tour operators. After finding several over-priced operators, my wife researched and found SoletoTravel. The company had GREAT reviews, so we reached out and were in touch with Omar almost immediately. It was easy to communicate with him on WhatsApp, and he was extremely responsive and was always able to answer our questions within a short period of time. After reviewing the many tour options on the Soleto website, we realized that we were looking for something a bit more customized. Omar offered that they specialize in making custom tours and put together an itinerary based on our travel dates and preferred destinations. In addition to 9 days in Sicily, we also added 3 days in Malta to our tour. Everything was fantastic - from the sites we saw, to the hotels, to the restaurants that were included in the tour, to the personal drivers (Salvatore and Angelo) who drove us around the island. They were professional, friendly, and always on time. The drivers in Malta were equally outstanding, including Jonathan, owner of AJ Transfer, and his driver Alex. We got to see everything that we were planning to see, and the entire trip went very smoothly. While we did not have a personal tour guide in Sicily (as most of the sites were self-guiding tours or tour guides were provided by the sites), we did have a personal tour guide in Malta. His name was Dennis, and he was a Maltese rock star in that he really knew the history of this unique island nation and all the locations that we visited. You could tell that he loved what he did and was enthusiastic about sharing his country's history with others. I would highly recommend Dennis as tour guide if you plan to go to Malta. Everyone who was part of our trip was simply outstanding. In summary, SoletoTravel and Omar were fantastic, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Sicily and/or Malta.
