**Wonderful Driver and Guide in Sri Lanka** We had an incredible 12-day trip in Sri Lanka, thanks to Nilantha.He was not just our driver, but also a fantastic guide. We spent 13 days travelling around Sri Lanka with Dhammika in February 2024. Dhammi was a very safe driver and we always felt comfortable in the Toyota Prius he drove. He was also much more than just a driver. He quickly figured out that we loved hiking and nature and would make recommendations of things to do that weren’t on our itinerary whenever we had spare time or if he thought we’d like it more than what we had planned. It was great to have local knowledge as he always gave us great recommendations for lunch, dinner & which tour operators to use. Dhammi had a great sense of humour and would often make us laugh. He always had a smile on his face and was ready to help if we had any questions. Sri Lanka was a beautiful destination and was made even better with the help of Dhammi. Thanks for a great holiday. Before our trip even started we had a great experience with King Coconut Holidays. Gayan was always quick to respond to questions. We had made our own itinerary of what we wanted to do and Gayan reviewed it and made recommendations of extra things which we loved.

We had an amazing experience with our driver Kanishka during our all-girls trip! He was not only incredibly sweet and friendly, but also made us feel safe and comfortable every step of the way. His driving was smooth and cautious, which gave us peace of mind, especially when traveling through unfamiliar areas. He was also super accommodating and went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend Kanishka for any trip—He truly made our experience very special!

We are a family of 2 adults, 1 kid who hired cab service from King Coconut holidays for a 10-day trip: Colombo Bandaranaike airport > Gael > Mirissa > Ella > Nuwara Eliya > Kandy > Dambulla > Colombo Bandaranaike airport Based on positive reviews, we had requested Nilantha to be our designated driver for this trip. We really had a comfortable, safe and a memorable trip in Sri Lanka. Nilantha was like a good friend to our family, took care of our requests and proposed locations where and when it would be ideal to visit. He even tagged along with us, where we were bit unsure to visit and if any local support needed, he took care of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and have made some good memories of Sri Lanka - a big thanks to Nilantha and King Coconut Holidays cab service.

We did 13 days with our driver Roshan via King Coconut Holidays, visiting Kandy, Sigyria, Trinco, Argyam Bay and Ella. From the first day, Roshan made us feel comfortable in his country, giving us control of our holiday whilst making friendly suggestions on where we could visit. One thing we noticed was how quick he was to learn about what we were interested in seeing. As nature lovers, he would frequently slow down the car and point out obscure birds, reptiles and animals. When we said we wanted to see crocodiles, he used his free time to explore a site near Arguam Bay where there were literally a hundred crocs and took us the next day! Personally, he was always smiling and laughing along with us. His sincere generosity saw him stop and pick up the most eclectic mix of fruit and savoury goods from roadside stands - and if we said we wanted a specific snack (triangle roti) he would scour the shops until we were satisfied. He was keen to share stories about his country in good English. To top it off, on our anniversary he bought us gifts to celebrate - something we hadn't even bought each other! Professionally, he is an exceptional driver in a country of slightly chaotic roads. He kept his car very clean and comfortable for the longer routes. He would leave us to our own devices when appropriate to do so (at the beaches etc.), but was never far away to help haggle and explain things to locals. On walks and at major tourist sites, he would accomany us to make sure we went in the right direction and disuade eager local guides and he seemingly knew every road and route! He would never rush us and - as we've seen in some reviews - push us towards places where he would get commission. At times, he even acted as concierge making phone calls for reservations, train tickets and cooking classes! If there was to be any impatience with last minute travel plans or uncommitted decisions from us, he never showed it. There is really little to complain about here - on a whistle-stop tour, having a driver helped us see and embrace as much of the culture, sites and nature in a short period without having to have constant conversations with hotel lobbies about taxis or trip packages. And if the journey is defined by the people you travel with, Roshan is the best of the best and felt like we were travelling with a friend. King Coconut Holidays, who organised our driver, were very responsive from the start. Other companies we contacted were either slow or tried to change our complete itinerary! They quickly sent over a day-by-day suggestion of what we could do when there to get us excited for our holiday (although a small suggestion would be a small paragraph saying what exactly some of the locations are!). During the trip they were in constant contact to make sure everything was OK and were flexible with things like when to pay etc. We've noticed in some reviews other companies are constantly harassing customers for the cash. The price itself seemed reasonable (about £45 a day, all inclusive) and there were no additional charges. So all-in-all an excellent experience and thoroughly recommend both the company and the driver.

Our tour of Sri Lanka with King Coconut tours was fantastic. We were greeted on arrival at the airport and taken to all of our hotels in comfort. A huge thanks to Roshan, our driver for making it so enjoyable. He really cared about making our trip work- especially helpful as we were travelling with our 2 young children- 3 and 1! He helped to care for the kids and did so many things behind the scenes such as getting us on the train to Ella despite it being busy. He made sure we saw everything possible and suggested many interesting things to try along the way- thank you Roshan- legend! We definitely recommend KC tours and in particular Roshan- do ask for him if you can!!

We had a wonderful family trip. We had been to many lovely places in our one week of travel. The finest was the Yala safari. It's highly recommended if you enjoy lush, beautiful surroundings and getting back to nature.

We had the most amazing week in Sri Lanka, all thanks to King Coconut Tours, but with special thanks to our driver, Vishwa. Not only was he an incredible tour guide but we honestly feel that we have made a friend for life from the trip. He was so kind, caring, friendly, funny and accommodating to our every need. He went absolutely above and beyond to make our trip one to never forget. He adapted the itinerary daily to suit our needs and was happy to change the plans as we needed, which made the trip incredible for us as we got to see/do every thing we wanted to! Not only did Vish give us tonnes of fun, factual information about his home country, but he also made it such a fun, enjoyable experience along the way. He made sure that we got the best possible experience from our time here by requesting rooms with stunning views in the hotels we stayed in, by choosing excellent drivers for our safaris and by bringing us to the most beautiful locations at sunrise and sunset so we could make the most of the wonderful scenery. He also ensured that we went to the best quality shops for gifts and jewellery and gave amazing advice when purchasing any items out here so we knew we were getting the highest quality possible. We felt comfortable since Day 1 of the trip and Vish made a special effort to get to know us so he could tailor the itinerary to meet our needs. The whole trip was so smooth from start to finish and that’s thanks to our amazing driver. He has an excellent relationship with all of the hotel staff, safari drivers and local site guides which helps you get the best possible experience from every thing you do. It was without a doubt a trip of a lifetime and we wish we could relive it all over again. We had an amazing experience with Kingcoconut Holidays and can’t recommend them enough! Gayan was super helpful and quick to organize everything for us at the last minute (we literally booked just before our flight). Our driver, Roshan, was an absolute gem. Roshan wasn’t just kind and caring toward us—he showed genuine concern for everyone around us, including other locals, wildlife and tourists. He even made sure all of the people and wildlife we encountered were respected, which spoke volumes about his character. He was a patient and safe driver, but also an incredible guide who shared so much knowledge about the country and its wildlife. Good driving company with lots of communication and helpful guiding, we didn't need a guide as we had the driver even though his English wasn't great we got by. Itinerary sorted around our hotel booking and no issues with the money or the company apart from some language barriers with the driver. Amazing trip would recommend the company to someone visiting Sri Lanka.

had the best sri lankan holiday with KCH, our driver chaminda was absolutely the sweetest and most genuine person we have met who made our trip super smooth and enjoyable, allowing us to travel our south of ceylon itinerary free of worries, no hardselling anything, just purely bringing us around and showing us his beautiful country with great recommendations for sightseeing and food along the way. I highly recommend booking with chaminda especially who is an extremely respectful, kind and gentleman. Car was very clean and felt new, communication was clear and rates were very reasonable. No surprise/hidden charges etc and just pure beauty and sri lankan hospitality all around, thank you so much chaminda and KCH, we miss you!

Truly Amazing!

It was truly amazing trip to Sri Lanka and with King Coconut crew, we had a great fun. Visited Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. Drive is friendly and has good knowledge of the places. Team is flexible and easy to deal with.

We booked driver for 5 days, and we got not just driver but guide and photographer as well. It was very pleasant experience to explore Sri Lanka with Roshan from King Coconut Holidays. Car was comfortable, always clean and smelled good.

Don’t look anywhere else for your perfect Sri Lanka holiday! From the moment I booked our private 9-day holiday with King Coconut Holidays my every need and wish was taken care of. Gayan, the manager, was in contact with me instantly after booking and with his help we finalized our individually customized itinerary together. He sent me the name and telephone number of our assigned driver, Roshan, beforehand so I could get in touch also with him before arriving. I cannot stress enough how satisfied we were with our driver, Mr. Roshan. He is kind, polite, unintrusive, cheerful, always ready to help with whatever wish we had. We felt he was our friend, not only our driver! He helped us with choosing and booking numerous activities, in communicating with the local people if needed. He even managed to get us the train tickets from Nanuoya (Nuwara Elya) to Ella, when officially they were sold out! He is a careful and very competent driver. All in all this was one of our best holidays ever and we cannot thank King Coconut Holidays, Gayan and especially Roshan enough for making it unforgettable. We wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to book our holidays with them again if we ever come back to this beautiful country, and I will certainly reccomend King Coconut to all the people I know. Stunning Place to Visit

Our guide Gayantha brought us here during our trip in Sri Lanka. The scenery is one of the most stunning we have ever seen anywhere in the world. We took many photos and Gayantha brought us to the best spots. He was such a great guide. The trip wouldn't have been the same without him. We highly recommend this trip if you love lush stunning scenery and getting back to nature.

We’ve just finished 9 days touring Sri Lanka with the help of our driver Nilantha from King Coconut Holidays. The booking was very straight-forward. Gayan answered all questions and provided a list of attractions and places we could visit each day. It made such a difference to have someone with local knowledge pick us up from the airport, take us down the coast, inland to Udawalawe, Ella, Kandy, and up to Negombo for a final night's stay before travelling home. Nilantha’s local knowledge was invaluable; he came with us to a number of attractions, such as Little Adams Peak, Buduruwagala Temple, Ella Zip Line, and the Blue Field Tea Plantation. He recommended some great eateries too. We felt safe at all times while on the road; he was on time each day, and the vehicle was always clean. We all had some great conversations and lots of laughs. It made a big difference to have such a nice person looking after us on what has been a great visit to Sri Lanka. We hope to come back and tour more of the country, including the East Coast, and when we do, I will be sure to use King Coconut Holidays.
